by feal8726. March 2011 08:59 Hello everyone,
Yesterday I managed to watch the latest (tenth) Gosick episode and I was quite happy with the content shown in this arc so I decided to do a quick post talking about it.

I finally managed to catch up with the manga and It's quite nice to follow both adaptation at the same time with their slight difference in execution story-wise.
First of all, I quite liked the Kujou / Grevil combo and the episode even thought used some "plot device" a little too farfetched (how did she notice the type of material used on that window if she wasn't even there?!)

We also got some backstory of Grevil and it was quite a surprise he had long straight hair before this drill configuration, and that the drill one has a deep reason behind it that is a promise with Victorika.
I always thought him as a total weirdo and to be honest still can't discard that idea.

One hard note in the arc is the Victorika imprisonment scene in the past before coming to the academy and while I knew it was that way watching it animated/drawed had a quite big impact on my morale. (Poor Victorika...why all this pain?!
)

Nevertheless the series is confirming as a solid one (one of the best of this season combined with Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka) with great quality in graphic, animation and sound and a interesting enough plot to keep you watching each episode.

I'm now looking forward to the next arc in which it seems we'll explore more of the backstory around Grevil and what I think has been his first love. (aka Jacqueline)
That's all for now. See you soon,
