Hello everyone,
C-C-C-OMBO BREAKER! After 22 consecutive review of different anime, this time we'll go for a preview instead of an anime going to be aired starting at April 8 based on both a light novel and manga and named "Hidan no Aria".

Let's start with a quick synopsis :
The story takes place in Tokyo Butei High School, a special school where armed detectives — "Butei" — are trained to use weapons. Kinji Tooyama is a second-year-student who has a special ability, but he keeps it a secret to maintain an ordinary, peaceful life. However, when he gets caught in a bombing on the way to school, he encounters H. Aria Kanzaki, the most powerful S-Rank Butei student in Assault Studies.
Let's start by saying that this is one of the most anticipated anime for me this season for its combination of comedy and action.

The story should be, from what I heard quite action-based with some filler area with the classic romantic comedy around our male lead that, strangely, is being surrounded like all good male leads by tons of girls.
And you say "But feal87, that happens in almost all harem series!!!", my answer will simply be "is it that bad?!
"

It will be nice to see how the most powerful S-Rank Butei will behave around one of the most worthless (our male lead) E-Rank Butei, but to be honest I'm more anticipating all the love comedy that will ensue as soon as the other girls get introduced.
We have great variery in characters in this series with our main girl (a loli), the classic ojousama in Riko Mine, the two friends of the male lead (that will likely give us some rivarly?!), and many others (like the sniper Reki!)

Mhn...you want to get some other reason to watch this series? Well let's start by saying that the main female lead (Aria H. Kanzaki) is portrayed by Rie Kugimiya (yeah finally a good protagonist role for her) and add to the top that the production is done by J.C. Staff!
Still not satisfied? Well, the anime is directed by the director of Shakugan no Shana!!!

I've given a quick look at all the PVs that are being distributed right now and my impression that this will be a big hit in my books (I already plan to get the manga)
I'm expecting Rie Kugimiya to use her trademark Shana/Nagi/Louise voice as this Aria look and act like that kind of girl (Little and bitchy)!

At the state of the things without watching any real episode my favourite character (let's see how many times I'll change it till when the series end) is Aria, maybe because of the fact that the others looks very plain compared to her.
Another nice thing of the series is the opening song that I'm already loving that is named "Scarlet Ballat" and sung by May'n (the same as most song from Macross) with its catchy theme and the May'n trademark rhythm.

Concluding, I'm looking forward to this series and will be covering it with random ramblings when something interesting arise during the anime.
Keep an eye on this blog for more on it.
See you soon,
