Hello everyone,
Here we are for another review of a manga/anime harem/comedy series named "Amaenaideyo" that got well two anime adaptations and two manga adaptations (both completed unfortunately)

Let's start with a synopsis :
The protagonist of the series is the monk-in-training Ikkou Satonaka, who transforms into a super-monk (being able to perform mass exorcisms) by his lust for the girls he lives with. He lives in the Saienji Temple as a Buddhist priest in training with six other nuns: Haruka Amanogawa, Sumi Ikuina, Hinata and Sakura Sugai, Chitose Nanbu and Yuuko Atouda, each of whom represents one of the bosatsu of the six lower realms of the traditional Buddhist cosmology.
Stupid story? Maybe.... Fun? Yes, completely!

The story around this series is mostly not-existant with little single episode arc in which the standard situations are repeated over and over again with little variations. Some ghost appear somewhere, our heroes get involved somehow, the girls can't defeat hima and end up naked, Ikkou become a super monk and save the day!
The fun is inside the situations and the hilarity that ensues between all the characters personality.

In the second series (my favourite), another girl is introduced as enemy that tries in every way to make Ikkou transform in super monk and in this adaptation the cycle is broken somehow in a more focused plot, while continuing to give what everyone was expecting from this series, that is quality comedy and fanservice.
The main characters are few (eight including our main character) and all of them are likable in one way or another. The personality are quite vary and you'll easily distinguish between them after a couple of episodes.

My favourite is Chitose Nanbu for the first series (well she's the only good in the first season) and Kazuki Kazusano in the second one.
I especially liked the hate/rivarly between the two during the second series especially after Kazuki end up in love with our main protagonist.

The visual quality of the series is quite high for the time it aired, and I loved the girls design in the anime (haven't bought the manga so I don't really know).
The animation is mostly consistent with little problems in some episodes but they're not very evident, so no worry.

The sound quality is also quite high even thought apart from some famous seiyuu (Ryoko Shintani and Mai Nakahara for example), the others aren't the most famous out there.
I loved the most the Mai Nakahara role as Chitose Nanbu, especially when she get violent against Ikkou!
Also of note is the ending of the second series (I'm still listening to it from time to time) named "Lonesome Traveler" sung by the same Mai Nakahara.

Concluding, this series is a suggested one for its high production values to everyone loving harem/comedy series, but don't watch it if you're here for the plot.
See you soon,

P.S. As I said in the title "We need more Kazuki Kazusano!!!"
