Hello again everyone,
Here we are to talk about another manga/anime series named Asu no Yoichi written by Yuu Minamoto and has completed its run recently with 15 manga volumes. (I only own 13 of them till now, but plan to complete the series soon enough in one of the future shipments)

Let's start with a synopsis :
Karusuma Yoichi, a samurai training in the mountains, comes to live with the four Ikaruga sisters in the city seeking to train himself in the city. He then begins to form bonds with the four sisters and others that appear before him as time passes and he grow up.
Yeah, this is a rather common way to start a story, and this story follows most of the clichè of harem animes out there.

Plenty of girls (there are more than ten girls around Karasuma on the manga), plenty of fanservice for each of the girl and plenty of comedy!
Actually this series add even a bit of moral on the top behind each story even if smaller Karasuma's speeches are almost as boring as Touma ones.

The plot is divided into multi-episode arc that follows a particular "girl" Karasuma end up saving in some way and consequentially make her fall in love with him.
I'm not going to delve deep in the manga storyline as I'm going to dedicate another post on the manga in the future.

The characters are many, most of them are likable and they do show some growth during the whole series even if the changes are slight at best.
My favourite character is Ayame Ikaruga with her tsundere personality, nice body (I'm not into big things unfortunately for Ibuki) and cute behaviour (especially when around Karasuma).

The character I most hated is instead (strangely) the beautiful Ibuki, her violent and rather clueless personality somehow get on my nerves. No idea why!

The visual quality of this series is top notch in both girls design (The style of the girls is one of the best of the last years in my opinion) and quality of backgrounds. The animations are mostly consistent, except for some screw up in some battle scenes.
Opening and Ending animations were good even thought nothing particularly artistic or impressive.

The sound quality is pretty high and we got quite a big number of big names here like Kana Hanazawa in Kagome's role and Haruka Tomatsu in Ayame's role.
My favourite seiyuu for this series has been Yukari Tamura in her Chihaya's role. I loved how she teases the people around her with her voice.

Concluding, , this is a rather fun series to watch if you like harem anime, the production values are high and the seiyuu cast of top quality. Go for it!
See you soon,
