Hello everyone,
I finally completed to insert all the description for all the wallpapers present in the blog (puff pant, they were quite a lot to write), if you spot any error please report it through the contact page. (Writing 1000+ description in 2 days may have produced some unwanted result unfortunately)
Now let's go to review another series I liked in the past, one of the first anime I watched in Japanese without subs or dubs that is Shuffle! based on an erogè with the same name that still spawns new versions due the massive popularity.

Let's start with a synopsis :
When two doors are discovered in an ancient ruin, the gateways to shinkai, the realm of the shinzoku (Gods) and makai, the realm of the mazoku (Demons) are irreversably opened. The races of human, shinzoku, and mazoku come together in the mortal world and nothing will ever be the same. One day, two new families move next door to a boy who had previously been living a very peaceful life. In one house lived the family of the King of the Gods, and in the other lived the family of the King of the Demons. Both families had one daughter whose single wish to live next to the boy they had fallen in love with years ago has just been fulfilled. Also living with the boy is his childhood friend. With these three girls vying for his affections, the boy finds that his new life filled with despair, jealousy, and just a little hope is beginning.
This is the most common type of Harem series (even thought the ending ended up changing it to a romance anime unfortunately) with plenty of girls around our main character, all for some unnatural reason attracted to him like a bee to some honey.

To be honest I've played part of the massive quantity of games dedicated to this series too, and the number of girls was even higher (20+ if I remember correct if you include the latest game that got released some months ago that added a lot of new characters).
The story by itself is pretty much clichè, there is plenty of comedy in much of the series. The only downside is how at the end they side-tracked from the original adaptation, changed Kaede in a psychopath (she was not behaving in that way in the original game) and decided for an Asa ending.

Yes, this is a typical example of a good series with high production value and infinite possibilities concluded in the worst combination of thing that basically turned me (and many others) off.
First of all why Asa?! She was the one I cared less in all the 20+ cast! Everyone else was fine...but they choosed Asa...

Next thing, why making Kaede behave like a crazed stalker with suicidal tendencies?! I have not played all route of the game, but I've never saw her go in that state to be honest.
Talking about characters, they are few in the anime series, but very well defined with complex backstory explained in detail in mini-arc dedicated to each of the girl. There is some growth in a few characters worth noting.

My favourite character is Lisianthus/Kikyo, she was the most cute and attractive and her backstory was to me the most interesting of the bunch showed in the anime series.
The visual quality of the series was top notch for the time this series aired and the animation is mostly consistent in all episodes. I loved both opening and ending animations (quite colorful and well animated)

The sound quality was another good point of the series. The seiyuu that partecipated in the project were quite experienced and have done a nice work portraying all the various characters emotion.
I loved especially Sayaka Aoki's Lisianthus/Kikyo role. She was perfect while portraying the two different voices and personality of Sia.

Concluding, this is one of the best anime of the last years and it should be in your watch list if you like comedy and romance with some harem situation added on the top.
I can suggest this as a starting anime series due to the familiar theme of love and comedy that is showed in the whole series and thanks to the relatively mild fanservice showed during the episodes.

But, to be honest it would have been even better if they animated the Lisianthus/Kikyo ending. (Yes, I love her...awwww need to go replay her route immediately
)
See you soon,
