Hello everyone,
Here we are for another rambling over To Aru Majutsu No Index, a light novel/manga/anime series currently on air in its second season (and we're nearing the end unfortunately)
First of all finally the battles got interesting (the previous arcs were too slow compared with the first season) even thought there have been quite some hiccup in the animation, but they'll probably get fixed in the dvd release.
The whole Accelerator involvement in this story was quite refreshing (I heard he become a regular after this arc) as Touma long speeches can get tiring after a while.
To be honest there have been times I've thought "hey, maybe boring enemy to death is his power?!" and this is an option not to discard. 
Also, I loved watching Accelerator throwing skyscrapers just because "he can" and the battle ensued against one who knew very well the potential of him.
Also of note is the Index intervention to save Last Order with her infinite knowledge of magic (thanks to the books in her head) and how the stories are merging together even thought both Touma and Accelerator do not realize anything. (They even talk, but do not recognize themselves!)
Now the tides are coming to an end with the appearance of a sane person (Acqua) instead of all the madman that we've watched till now as both Vento and Kihara weren't the best example of mental sanity after all.
One thing I'm quite sad at is the way Aleister has manipulated the poor Kazakiri, I want him dead, but thats probably not a possibility as if my deductions are correct he will be something like a final boss of the whole story. (I doubt they'll make it die in this season)
Next episode seems we'll get more of Himegami Aisa (or someone who is much like her) and that's always a good thing (Mamiko Noto ftw), hopefully she'll get some screen time in the following last arc for this season.
Concluding, , this season of To Aru Majutsu no Index has been a quite fun ride even thought I'm still preferring the pace and enemies of the first one. (It was great the fight against the Alchemist)
Let's hope for another season soon enough as there is more material to cover (Itsuwa's Arc!!!)
