Hello everyone,
Let's go ahead with another review of some not covered series. This time we'll talk about the seinen (yes you heard me right) manga/anime named "Hanamaru Youchien" written by Yuto.

Let's start with a synopsis :
Anzu, Hiiragi, and Koume are three girls who attend the lively Hanamaru Kindergarten. There they have lots of adventures with their classmates and with Naozomi Tsuchida, their teacher who has just started working fresh out of school. Together they try to attract attention from their caretaker Tsuchida. However, he is clearly more interested in the pretty Yamamoto who supervises the class next door.
The story is almost non-existant as this is a mostly slice of life comedy anime that focus on the normal/cute things that these girls in the kindergarten while pursuing for their teacher named Tsuchida.

The story is filled with happiness and friendliness, you'll not see any bad/evil man here, just a lot of cute characters doing cute things and some adult caring about them. This is a nice thing to see in an anime as it makes you relaxed and away from real life problems.
The stories are pretty simple and most of them revolves to the interaction between Naozomi and his students with some recurring appearence of the other teachers and adults.

The recurring characters are few, but well defined. Each one of them with a particular personality and a very definite design that makes them stand out and be easily recognizable.
My favourite adult character is the sister of the main protagonist named Satsuki Tsuchida (she's the perfect tsundere imouto
), while my favourite child character is the child of the yakuza Hinagiku (She's too cute when she makes the yakuza do what she want.)

The graphical quality is top notch and the animation quality is consistent and fluid for most of the episodes (even thought there isn't much action in this series to notice problems)
Opening and Ending are focused on the three main childs (Anzu, Hiiragi and Koume) and is pretty fuwa-fuwa (to say it in K-On terms) and are relaxing to watch.

The sound quality is also of high quality even thought the seiyuu in this series aren't the most famous out there.
I especially liked Mako's (Do you remember her from Yurie in Kamichu'?!) role of the crybaby Koume that is likely the most "real" child character in this series)

Concluding this is a very nice series I can suggest to anyone looking for a relaxing and funny experience. This is also a nice pick to start watching anime due to funny story and almost not-existant fanservice.
See you soon,

P.S. How can Yamamoto-sensei be so dense?!
