Actually there is a particular point not clear in her transformation, she mentions something that she has done, but I hope she haven't killed her old friend Hitomi out of spite! That would be quite unredeeming for her.
Yes, the next topic is Homura that finally after all these episodes of apathic behaviour shows some emotion, who is she?
There are various hypotesis at the moment between the blogosphere, but the two I endorse is that she is Madoka's child from the future or Madoka herself from another dimension!
Why the big change of hair style and colour? Who knows!
Kyubey reveals himself as Incubator, and while no one ever thought him as a "good" familiar, we still don't know anything about who controls him and what is the meaning of what he's doing.
I doubt they'll go with a "because he's evil" theory so there has to be some reason for his action that nevertheless are never forced. (hell, it's not him that force to make contracts, it's girls like Sayaka that do this shit 
)
After all he's creating and moving witches through worlds, what is the meaning of this? There has to be one!
I liked a lot the scene where he eat himself after being "killed" by Homura to the shock of everyone watching. (me included to be honest)
But probably he'll end up as in the previous wallpaper, that is tortured and killed by the whole mahou shoujo army in one way or another!
The next time he would probably be more precise when stating the contract he's making people sign! (or maybe not?! 
)
Or the story could end up with an harem ending in which Kyubey marry all the girls and they live happy thereafter...
