After giving some time to rest (aka I totally forgot about it), I decided to complete Fortune Arterial Anime that I leaved half-way.
I thought, hell it's the same as the Visual Novel anyway and that was a masterpiece. What can go wrong?
I was mistaken, gravely mistaken, everything can go wrong if you have a wrong director or scriptwriter!
Yes, they decided not to animate the TRUE end, but filled up with an inconclusive, sad rehash of the Erika end...
What is wrong with that ending? Basically nothing get resolved!
The backstory with the vampires with all the details given by the Visual Novel on the past of Kaya and her reasons and the Hasekura involvement in her story is forgotten along the way.
The romance between Sendou Erika and Kohei Hasekura does not get properly resolved...they don't even kiss at the end...
In the true end, the real reason behind Kaya motives come to light, her tragic story of long time ago and why she is creating vampires.
Her relation with Kuze get mended and they start to travel together to see the world like friends.
She (Kaya) decide to give Erika and Iori the freedom to decide if to remain immortal vampires or return to be normal humans (like they were in the beginning).
And hell how was warm hearting watching Erika and Kohei marry and having a children while Kaya and Kuze protect them from afar...
In the end what I'm saying is that I'm writing down Munenori Nawa (the director) name in my black list to avoid other show directed by him and I suggest to you to read the Visual Novel and forget about the anime...
Wait...there was a Fortune Arterial anime....I don't remember...what were we talking about?!
