Hello again everyone,
Let's go ahead and review another rather famous light novel adapted into a series (seven) of animated films named "Kara no Kyoukai" written by Kinoko Nasu (the same from Fate/Stay Night and Tsukihime)

Let's start with a synopsys :
Mikiya Kokuto finds himself intrigued by two things. The first is by Shiki Ryougi a beautiful, yet rather unsociable, girl and the other is the strange series of violent deaths that start occuring in his town. As he attempts to get closer to Shiki, he soon learns that the two are connected and that there are many supernatural forces at work which could very likely get him killed as well.
Very plain synopsys, but the story starts there and everything goes wrong (in a good meaning). The main character Mikiya Kokuto is a rather brave guy to stalk Shiki every day and night!!!

The story is fantastic as usual for a work made by Nasu and the twist and battles are behind the way.
The characters are likable even if you'll need a couple of film to better understand who's who especially because they choose for a non-linear storyline. (time-wise)

The graphical quality, as normality for animated film, is top notch and generally higher than all the TV anime you'll see.
The battle animation smooth, highly detailed and consistent. (unfortunately they are very few
)

The seiyuu involved in the project are rather plain except for Kikoku Inoue in the part of Touko Aozaki and some other as minor character, but do anyway a nice job.
The soundtrack is awesome, sound effects and background music are one of the most intriguing experience I've ever saw in an anime.
The endings (yes there are no opening for any film) are very good and they are all sung by Kalafina (You remember her for the So-Ra-No-Wo-To Opening?)

Concluding this is probably one of the best anime of the recent years and I suggest this to you if you like horror, drama, supernatural and battle anime. (it's a mix of those)

Ah forgot to say,
My favourite is the imouto Azaka Kokutou. She's too cute with her rivarly with Shiki.
See you later,
