Hello,
Here we are for another quick-review. This time we'll explore another light novel/manga/anime series I loved and that got a lot of attention recently. It's name is "Baka To Tesuto To Shoukanjuu" written by Kenji Inoue.

Let's start with the usual synopsys :
Advanced placement into a school of higher grade proof-reading is determined by the results of the Promotion Test strictly for class type. Ranging from A class with the best facilities anyone can offer all the way down to F Class which is composed of low dining tables, rotten tatami mats and other worn out facilities. Students can change classes by competing using the Examination Summons Battle system or ESB. Students summon characters with their equivalent test mark scores and use them to compete with other classes.
This is, in its own way, a quite original story that is unfortunately foreshadowed by the romance/comedy (not that they are bad) that occurs on the top of it. The plot is rather non-existant (except for some brief part) and the series focus on the comedy and romance part (another harem series?!).

The characters are quite interesting, and you'll find yourself cracking up with laugh more than once at following their antics (who said Himeji's food?!
). There is no much growth through the series, but that's understandable as this is not written to be a deep story, but a comical one.

The seiyuu cast is not the top, but their work is quite nice. I loved most of the voices proposed in the anime (especially the FFF Inquisition one
).
The soundtrack was decent, but I liked a lot the OP by Natsuko Asuo named "Perfect-area complete!".

Concluding, the anime left me asking for more, so I'll likely get at least the manga when I get some free space in a future shipment.
I suggest to anyone who loves comedy anime with a bit of romance to go watch it. It's a worthwhile experience!
That's all for this quick review,

P.S. No, my favourite character is NOT Hideyoshi, but Minami Shimada. Tsundere is love...
