Hello,
After so much time from the last post about it let's get back to review To Love Ru, a rather famous Manga/Anime series that already concluded its run (if you don't count the spinoff To Love Ru Darkness). With 18 manga volumes and 2 anime series is the biggest manga series I followed till now (And i plan to get the spin-off too
).

But let's go on and see the synopsys :
The story of To Love-Ru revolves around Rito Yūki, a high-school student who cannot confess to the girl of his dreams, Haruna Sairenji. One day when coming home and sulking in the bathtub, a mysterious, nude girl appears out of nowhere. Her name is Lala and she comes from the planet Deviluke, where she is the heir to the throne. Her father wants her to return to her home planet so she can marry one of the husband candidates. But she decides that she wants to marry Rito in order to stay on Earth. Commander Zastin has been ordered to bring Lala back and has already battled Rito. He reports to the emperor that Rito would be suited to marry Lala, after hearing Rito, who was actually defending himself instead of Lala, says that marriage is impossible unless it is with the person you love. Lala truly falls in love with Rito and decides that she wants to marry Rito after hearing what he said. Her father decides that, if Rito is able to protect Lala from her fiancés, then he can marry her, but if Rito cannot protect Lala from her other fiancés and meet the king's expectations, Lala's father will kill Rito and destroy the Earth.
Yeah, it's a crazy story and reminiscent of some old anime, but don't focus too much on it. It's not the focus of the series!

Yes, the focus of this series is my Yami-chan!!!
(Golden Darkness in english, Konjiki no Yami in japanese)
Not really, but in a certain meaning it is the reality. The focus of the series is on the various girls that are around the main protagonist, as all harem anime after all, and there are a massive amount of them to choose between, all with their own personality!!!

My favourites are three, in order of preference we have the already quoted Konjiki no Yami (Golden Darkness) that is an alien assassin, then we have the tsundere Kotegawa Yui (it's too funny to see the embarassing situations she found herself into), and then Mikan Yuuki. (the little sister of the protagonist! Yes Micchi, for one time even I like an imouto
)

After reading all the manga what I can say is "no progress at all, but a lot of fun" as review. But let's go see the manga covers (Too many!!!) :

As you can see we have a rather high quality of art consistent for all the story and an high number of volumes. Each volume is divided into short stories (generally five, except some specials longer than one chapter), each one linked to each other in the timeline. (they give a sense of continuity)

The soundtrack of the anime isn't that special and I didn't like much either OP or ED unfortunately. The japanese voice dub is instead top-notch and I liked pretty much every voice in the anime. (Kotegawa Yui!!!
)

Concluding a series I suggest to anyone, go and watch/read it if you still haven't done!

P.S. Don't even try to touch either of my three megami!!!
