Hello again,
Here we are talking again about an harem (after the last Madoka Magika crazy story) Light Novel/Manga/Anime series that I liked a lot in these years. This series had 3 anime seasons and probably we'll get another in the future giving that the original light novel is still running at the current date.
It's name is Zero no Tsukaima and it is probably famous to most of you!

Let's go with the synopsys for those who still doesn't know it :
Meet Louise, a budding magician. The students at the Tristein Academy call her "Zero Louise", due to her current record of zero successes with magic. In fact, her magic tends to go spectacularly wrong. Now, as an important test of her aptitude for magic, she must summon a familiar to be her servant. At this critical moment, she summons up all her magic and wishes for a familiar that is "devoted, beautiful and powerful", and gets... Hiraga Saito, an ordinary Japanese boy. It's difficult to say who is more surprised and dismayed, but the rules don't allow for second attempts. Louise is stuck with her strange familiar, and he with her.
Yeah, these are the stories I like...simple, filled with fanservices and funny.
The story follows a not episodic approach (where episode can means an entire light novel volume or multiple anime episodes), and give continuity to the characters. (I hate episode-centric series where every single episodes is a story by itself with low link to main story progression like Jikogu Shoujo)

The story by itself is a quite good fantasy series (nothing exceptional, normal classic story), and I liked the concept of "stranded in a unfamiliar world" especially if surrounded by nice girls.
The characters are quite likable, you'll find yourself loving them after a while, there is a lot of variery of personalities and they match quite well together. (even thought Louise can get annoying at times)

The art quality as you can see, it's top notch and is high through the whole series. I can't at the moment talk about the manga as this is another series I'm planning to buy (there are too many of them and it's difficult to catch up with reading.
), but I promise that I'll do another post when I'll get the mangas to do a quick review of their quality.

The soundtrack is decent and we have quite a number of songs for OP/ED by Rie Kugimiya (Louise) that I love as seiyuu, but as I read on the net it's quite an hit or miss for people out there.

Concluding, I suggest this series to anyone who like comedy harem series with lots of fanservice, don't expect a misterious story or deep development. There are, like I said, three anime series respectively of 13,12 and 13 episodes (if you count OVAs as episodes) so there's plenty material to start and even pass to manga when you're finished with the anime.

That's all for today, but I'll probably be back on this series tomorrow for some more goodies.
See ya,

P.S. If you were asking yourself the question...yes Louise is my wife!!!
