In the end, they have choosen to use JAXA's help and re-design the robot in order to make it a great up-to-date experiment. That means the original project will have to wait to be implemented.

They also introduced the concept of "monopole" in this episode (it's an hypothetical particle in the real world particle physics) and I really wonder what exactly was Kimijima Kou researching in that city...

Today we'll talk about the 9th episode of the fall season 2012 anime series Robotics;Notes that completes the "giant robot" story arc with our robotics club utter failure to deliver anything usable.

I knew that they were going to fail, but I wasn't expecting the reason to be the old technology used in the initial construction of the robot back in Akiho's sister days.

Still it wasn't half bad to leave that out of the way, but now I wonder what will happen to our heroes. They have plenty of sub-plots open, but nothing visible to link them together.

I was not expecting an army of black suits to appear out of thin air requesting to have a chat with our heroes, especially if this army is lead by a beautiful small girl.
