Today we'll stop a bit the episodic coverage of this spring anime season 2012 to focus on a particular dilemma that was object of many debates in the anime community in the past.
Did you ever watch an anime adapted from a different original source? If you answered yes to this question, you're likely going to know what I'm talking about already.
Yes, I'm talking about the dilemma every anime director face whenever adapting a series from a manga/light novel or even visual novel. "Should I follow closely the original material or should I put something original in it?"
Yes, we're finally here to celebrate the first anniversary since the creation of this blog. I'm still fairly young compared to many other bloggers around the world, but I really enjoyed the ride in this whole year every day together with all of you.
I remember it like it was yesterday. One year ago, the 22 January 2011 I called Micchi on MSN and told him something like "hey, I'm going to create a wallpaper blog just for the heck of it as I rented a server for other reasons", but I would have never thought to be still here to write after one full year.
In this long year we had well 518 blog posts (1,42 per day) in which I wrote more than 3.000.000 characters overally (including my own comments) and shared with you 2944 different wallpapers. We also discussed together about many short videos (146 at the moment) on the many anime series that we love and follow.
Piece by piece, months by months the blog increased the number of functionalities offered to the reader. Screenshots and short audio files (2038 screenshots with 361 audio files at the moment), covers of the manga I follow (291 images), live statistics and much more!
Today we'll talk about the first episode of the romantic/comedy anime named Mashiro Iro Symphony adapted from a visual novel with the same name from Palette that had quite a success a couple of years ago.
I was a bit sceptic over this adaptation due to the low level of quality shown in the promotional video (and the very fact that there was only a single promotional video), but I'm now genuinely surprised by the faithful adaptation they've created.
Today (-2 days to the beginning of the new season) we'll talk again a bit on the upcoming anime series Mashiro Iro Symphony that we already partially previewed in a previous post months ago.
Mashiro Iro Symphony is going to start air the fourth of October slated to run for a single season (12-13 episodes) pretty much like most harem series nowadays.
This series follows the most common format found in the harem anime series (and pretty much a good 90% of the visual novels) that is a single lucky guy ending up being surrounded by plenty of beautiful girls (and the obviously present "best friend that won't get half girl") in an high school setting.
Today we'll talk about another preview of an autumn 2011 anime (likely as date as they said "2011", but not confirmed) adapted from a visual novel named "Mashiro Iro Symphony" from the company Palette that I liked and played a long time ago (two years ago in the 2009).
22/01/2013 00:01 : Two years! We finally made it. Thanks to everyone!
