They really managed to express well with this episode why my favourite character of the story is Komari and it'll become even more evident with a particular scene of the final story arc (Refrain).

Komari is a good girl and while she's maybe a bit naive, she's definitely not stupid. She tries to spread happiness to all the people around her without asking for much in return.

Yes, they adapted pretty well Kud's story arc and it was really hard to watch Kud chained trying desperately to escape from that bitter fate in her home country. 

Riki and the other members of the Little Busters managed to give her hope through that gears model teleported to her thanks to some kind of magical event. (trust me, everything will make sense later on).

Yes, Kud is now travelling back into her home country to check for her mother whereabouts and just as you can probably speculate, things won't go well for her.

The preview clearly shows an injured Kud and that can only means that something weird is going on in that country. Will Kud manage to go back to Japan?
