Yes, it looks like we finally reached 1000 posts available in Emptyblue.it. This is probably the biggest milestone that this blog managed to achieve in these two years and 3 months (799 days).
Back in the days, I didn't think I would manage to create this much content while keeping the blog a daily routine. It's really nice to see that we even kept the "one post per day" promise for all this long period.
Today we celebrate the second anniversary from the creation of this anime blog, hosted on emptyblue.it, the 22 january of 2011.
As I've already said in some past article, this was just a side-project started, while talking to Micchi, to share wallpapers with my friends and nothing really important back at the time.
After a couple of months, it started to grow up with more and more content to the point of becoming a fully fledged episodic anime blog.
Yes, slightly more than one year passed since the last achievement back in 21 december 2011 (1.000.000 views in less than 11 months! Thanks!) and here we are to have another celebration in this small blog.
We finally reached a whooping total of 5.000.000 views and I have to thank everyone (commenters, fellow bloggers and even silent lurkers) who supported me in this long run.
Hope you are enjoying your stay and will continue to follow me in the future anime seasons. There's much to discuss, much to talk about every single season and I'm really looking forward to spend some time having a chat with everyone!
Do you remember this post of the 12 october 2011 talking about the life and death of anime blogs? Well, I thought about updating on the current situation of the blogosphere one year after using the additional data I've been able to gather during this year.
Just as many of you already know (by watching the sidebar containing the anime blog life status), I'm daily checking through an automated application the status of fellow anime bloggers that have been listed at least once on AnimeNano (an active anime blog directory) and try to extrapolate informations about the current health of the anime blogosphere.
Even while considering that AnimeNano doesn't contain "ALL" the english anime blogs, we can easily use it as a device to try and get trends in this relatively small blogging nichè.
Today we'll talk about a slightly different topic, compared to the usual episodic coverage of the summer season 2012, that I thought to be interesting to discuss with both readers and fellow anime bloggers.
Every once in a while, I find myself watching a very interesting/exciting anime episode and after writing a rich episodic article in a very short period of time, I end up losing more than half an hour thinking of a good title for the post.
Why? Well, while there are many titles that could do the job, I find myself questioning "will this title be considered a spoiler for the anime series or not?" or "What could the un-aware reader detect from this title?".
22/01/2013 00:01 : Two years! We finally made it. Thanks to everyone!
