This evening we'll pause a bit the coverage of this fall 2011 anime season because I finally got some time to watch the second volume of the anime series Carnival Phantasm animated by Lerche.
Carnival Phantasm is a parody anime series (focused on the Fate and Tsukihime franchise) for the tenth anniversary from the creation of the Type-Moon company. We already covered the first volume in the past!
This second volume was of the same length as the other with four half-length episodes to have fun with. All of them shared the same kind of carefree plot and cheerful animation in every second of it.
Here we are to talk about a new OVA anime series that we quickly introduced in the Maji de Watashi ni Koi Wo Shinasai preview of some time ago and that turned out to be a very nice pick for any fan of the Tsukihime/Fate world like me. This series is named Carnival Phantasm and is a production dedicated to the tenth anniversary from the creation of the company TYPE-MOON.
The concept behind Carnival Phantasm is very easy (and a lot reminiscent what an indipendent developer has done with his RPG game Battle-Moon Wars) that is merging the characters from the various products of the company (mainly from the Tsukihime and Fate Stay Night universe) into a new storyline together. This time the story it looks like it will be a wacky fun parody with plenty of laughs and comedy.
