Hello,
And let's go review something new. This time we'll talk about a rather famout light novel adapted in both manga and anime recently and that got a really bad director (or character designer?!) this time around...
Yes I'm talking about "Asobi ni iku yo!" written by Okina Kamino.

Let's start up with a synopsis :
The story revolves around Kakazu Kio, an ordinary high school freshman living in Okinawa. A girl with cat ears appears before him during a memorial service for one of his family ancestors. The girl calls herself Elis and claims she is an alien. Before long, fanatical alien worshipers and a mysterious government agency are in hot pursuit of Elis, but Kio's childhood friend Manami — who wants to follow in her father's footsteps in the CIA — captures Elis. Kio finds himself having to protect Elis from everyone.
Ok, the story is pretty much fantasy in much more than one meaning, but I do approve of their courage in putting such an "interesting" story. But let's go at the problem at hand, while the story isn't the best you can always expect something nice by these series, be it comedy or nice girls or a little of romance.
I mean they are running for 14 light novel volumes, there has to be a saving point for them interesting the people to buy more books...

When I started watching the anime the first thing that my mind was saying was "did they just grow up in the passage between LN and anime?". Yes, did you notice the difference in the rack size between the light novel and the anime?!
I've immediately gone to search the director's name and to be honest I was expecting to find the director of "High school of the dead" up there, but unfortunately it was some other guy...

Another rather "self-explanatory" thing about how this adaptation was badly managed is the english title...let me just write it down for you.
"Asobi ni Ikuyo: Bombshells from the Sky"
Do I even have to add something else to this series?! Please spare me already, I'm getting too old for this!

Well, to be honest I'm interested on reading both light novel and manga and I decided to put one volume at least of this series in the next shipment. Hell, I want to see if this catastrophic situation is repeated in those too...
Other than that the animation quality is quite high and pretty much consistent, and so is the quality of the seiyuu used in the process as we have Kana Hanazawa and Haruka Tomatsu in main roles.

Opening and Ending song and animation are decent, and while you'll not get impressed they're quite funny to watch. (liked the OP named "Now Loading... Sky!!" by "Sphere")
Concluding, this is a not suggested series unless you just want to see girls stripping down and going around in skimpy outfits trying to look cool with guns while the main guy continue to be as useless as possible.
